The Paleo diet suggests its benefits come from eating more potassium than sodium, more alkaline than acid, more vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, plant phyochemicals….largely because the diet encourages eating fresh, whole, (not processed) foods. The RotationDietPlus Software can be used either for a) QUICK CONVENIENCE of establishing Paleo meal ideas fast: however clients should consider all foods on the entire Software Food Chart for EVERY Meal : since Restrictive Diets that eliminate a large number of foods/food categories(ie. all grains), leave clients with far too few food choices to accomplish Food Rotation at the same time. b) Try Food Rotation First to see ALL the VARIETY you CAN eat before making the many eliminations of Paleo, Or c) find out if your Restrictive Diet (ie. Paleo) offers a path to meaningfully widen your diet from all strict restrictions, at which time you might eat enough variety of foods for Food Rotation, which then deliberately works to widen diet.
- LeftClick on the category name “Grains” to strike it off the diet. Same for category name “legumes”. Then shift-click to return peas to the diet
- Category “starchy vegetables” : shift-leftclick those individual foods with high glycemic index to remove: ie. potatoes, cassava…. and others (weighing glycemic index against nutritional value)
- Click on category name “Dairy”, then shift-leftclick on eggs to return them to the diet
- Depending on your position on high glycemic, you are likely deleting sweet “Fruits” : Shift-leftclick those individual fruits you want to delete
- Click on category name “Sweets” to remove most as too high on the glycemic index. Shift-leftclick to add back those you want in diet.
