YOUR EASIEST PATH
INDIVIDUALS – STEP 1 : Strikeout your diagnosed allergens and intolerances, leaving all other food in the Rotation.
Go to either Step 1 (a) Or Step 1 (b)
Step 1 (a) : Only a very few foods to strike-out from diet : Strikeout Foods in the upper “Food Choices Chart”…That will automatically update the lower “Meal Ideas Chart”.
- Shift-leftClick strikes out any individual food (Or brings it back)
Step 1 (b) : A larger number of Foods to strikeout from diet :
Strikeout Foods in the upper “Food Choices Chart”… That will automatically update the lower “Meal Ideas Chart”.
- Many in a Food Category (ie. most Grains OR most Dairy),then LeftClick on the left column Category “Name (ie. Grain OR Dairy) to strike out the entire category… and then Shift-LeftClick on each individual food you want to UN-STRIKE.
- Similarly, if you wish to remove almost an entire Food Family (ie. Nightshades), Double-LeftClick on any food in the family…to highlight that entire Family. Then click “delete” key on your keyboard to strikeout the entire family. Shift-LeftClick will un-strikeout any individual food, to return it to the diet.
(If too few foods left in the Meal Ideas Table, consider that too many foods have been eliminated. You are using this like an Elimination Diet, instead of relying on Rotation to reduce sensitization. With Elimination, the diet may be unbalanced/ less nutritious than it ought to be for healing. Rebuilding wellness needs superior nutrition…not reduced nutrition.
INDIVIDUALS – STEP 2 : Simple Family Meals at first
KISS (Keep it simple for success) : For the first 2-3 Rotations, RELY HEAVILY ON THE MEAL IDEAS CHART, and chose ONE simple MEAL for each mealtime : For example, although your Food Choices Chart may allow both Chicken and Pork on ie. Day 2, PICK ONE ie. CHICKEN for the first 2-3 rotations. If your family chicken recipe includes Rice, then Drag the Rice Family to Day 2 (Double-LeftClick on any food in the rice family…to highlight the entire Family, then Drag to Day 2) = You have a Family Meal that everyone at the table recognizes : No more shopping and cooking separately for yourself, while making a different family meal for others.
INDIVIDUALS – STEP 3 : Input the “ONE SIMPLE” Recipe/Meal Plan decided on in Step 2, into the 4-Day RECIPE PLANNER.
Click on “Recipes” button at top right of Software Food Chart, so you have all charts open
Work from all Charts to fill in recipes for each of Day 1- Day 4 : this becomes the ONLY Chart you need to look at daily.
(Later, after some 2-3 Rotations, once comfortable with Food Rotation, you will ADD alternate meals, such as the pork discussed in Step 2 above, to the 4- Day RECIPE PLANNER : You are always working to widen your choices. OR permitting one rotation chicken, then next Pork.)
INDIVIDUALS – STEP 4 : Save AND PRINT :
Save (button at top right of Food Chart) each time you make modifications to the Food Chart(Food Choices Chart/ Meal Ideas Chart), to work from later.
Print a hard-copy and keep a file chronologically, so you have a chronology of food changes you have had to make.
INDIVIDUALS – STEP 5 : Chart your symptoms
Fill out Day 1 -4 for each Rotation. Print for chronological file of all 3 Charts above, as well Symptom tracking : it may help indicate foods that are suspect or safe.
INDIVIDUALS – STEP 6 :
Based on Step 5 Chart, you will be tweaking the diet : ie. if your charting of symptoms leads you to suspect ie. almonds may be a problem, here are possible ways to keep them in the diet, if possible :
- eat the almonds only ONCE on the Day (ie. at breakfast)
- if still a problem follow that up with eating only ONCE on the Day, every 8 days
- if sill a problem skip a rotation entirely, so almonds are tried only after 8 days
- consider a more digestible version of the food ie. (soak or sprout the almonds)
- Finally, you may need to remove that food for a longer time period, and possibly monitor re-introduction carefully afterwards
Also tweak for family meals : move food families around to get to meals that you can comply with. Modifications to the Food Chart are as simple as logging in and using the simple commands summarized below again.
NOTATE these decisions on the hard copy of the most recent 4-Day Recipe Planner in your file/binder so you do not forget. And so you have a record of all food changes to match up against your symptom chart.
INDIVIDUALS – STEP 7 :
If successfully (60-75% compliance) Rotating your foods… for 2-3 Rotations (3 Rotations =12 days) : You have introduced rich and varied nutrition/less chaotic and damaging diet, and ARE ORGANIZED IN YOUR EATING PATTERNS, perhaps for the first time in your life. You may now be able to observe effects of a single food added or removed; or if a supplement is having effect.
If your symptom trends are good, it may be the time to ask a health provider to monitor careful re-introduction of some foods (Caution: never re-introduce medically diagnosed allergens/intolerances).
Continue to modify your evolving Food Charts. Modifications to the RotationDietPlus Food Chart (Food Choices Chart automatically updates Meal Ideas Chart) are as simple as logging back into your Saved Document, and using the below commands (click, double click, shift-click, save…) to update the upper Food Choices Chart (the lower Meal Ideas Chart is automatically updated), and the 4-Day Recipe Chart.
INDIVIDUALS – STEP 8 :
IF you are 60-75% complying with the Food Rotation for several Rotations, yet symptom trends are not good, do not stop the organized Food Rotation. Instead, restrictive diets can be built ONTO your current Rotation Diet customization… and one at a Time, to minimize food losses from diet.
